2. The water pump does not absorb water, and the vacuum gauge indicates a high degree of vacuum. Reason: The bottom valve is not open or has been blocked. The resistance of the suction pipe is too high, and the suction height is too high. The condition of the bottom valve should be corrected or modified, or the suction pipe should be changed to lower the suction height.
3. The pressure gauge shows pressure, but the water pump still does not discharge water. Reason: The outlet pipe has high resistance, the rotation direction is incorrect, the impeller is blocked, and the water pump speed is not enough. It is necessary to inspect or shorten the water pipe and check the motor, remove the water pipe joint, clean the impeller, and increase the rotation speed of the water pump shaft.
4. The flow rate is lower than the design requirements. Reason: The water pump is blocked, the sealing ring is worn too much, and the rotation speed is insufficient. The pump and pipes should be cleaned, the sealing ring should be replaced, and the rotation speed of the water pump shaft should be increased.
5. The power consumption of the water pump is too high. Reason: The packing gland is too tight, the packing box heats up, the impeller wears out, and the water pump supply increases. The packing gland should be relaxed, the impeller replaced, and the outlet pipe resistance increased to reduce the flow rate.
6. The internal sound of the water pump is abnormal, and the water pump does not supply water. Reason: The flow rate is too high, the resistance inside the suction pipe is too high, and there is air infiltration at the suction point, resulting in a high temperature of the liquid being sucked.
7. Water pump vibration. Reason: The pump shaft and motor shaft are not on the same centerline, or the pump shaft is bent. The axis lines of the water pump and motor should be aligned. Bearing overheating. Reason: There is no oil, and the water pump and motor shaft are not concentric. Oil should be added, the centerline of the shaft should be aligned, and the bearing body should be inspected or cleaned.
