Structural characteristics
The VD pump is a horizontal self balancing centrifugal pump with a single suction multi-stage structure and a double suction multi-stage structure according to the suction form (except for the first stage of the 280 95, 360 95, and 450 95 pumps, which are double suction structures, all other pump types are single stage structures). The suction inlet is horizontal on the inlet section, and the discharge outlet is vertically upward on the outlet section. The inlet section, middle section, outlet section, and secondary inlet section of the pump are connected together with tensioning bolts, The height of the head can be increased or decreased by the number of stages of the pump (the suction port can be vertical according to user needs).
1. The main components of a water pump include the inlet section, middle section, outlet section, secondary inlet section, positive guide vane, reverse guide vane, positive impeller, reverse impeller, shaft, throttling and pressure reducing device, gear sleeve, bearing body, transition pipe, etc;
2. The rotor is composed of a positive impeller installed on the shaft, a throttling and pressure reducing device, a reverse impeller, a shaft sleeve, a bearing guard sleeve, and other components; The bearing adopts a "fixed flow" dry oil lubrication structure, with a cylindrical roller bearing at the driving end and a combination structure of cylindrical roller bearing and angular contact ball bearing at the end;
3. The working chamber of the pump is composed of inlet section, middle section, outlet section, secondary inlet section, positive guide vanes, reverse guide vanes, transition pipes, etc;
4. The sealing surfaces between the inlet, middle, and outlet sections of the pump are sealed with sealant or "O" rings, and a sealing ring is installed between the rotor and fixed parts. Seal the guide vane sleeve and other components, and replace them in a timely manner when the wear of the sealing ring and guide vane sleeve has affected the working performance of the pump;
5. There are two types of shaft seals: mechanical seal and packing seal. When the pump adopts a packing seal, the position of the packing ring should be placed correctly, and the tightness of the packing must be appropriate, with the liquid being able to seep out one drop at a time. The various sealing components of the pump are installed in the sealing chamber, and a certain pressure of water should be introduced into the chamber to serve as a water seal, water cooling, or water lubrication. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft.
